How to get and use Warped Roots in Minecraft

Travel to the Warped Forest
Build a Nether portal and look for the blue-teal Warped Forest biome, where Warped Roots grow on warped nylium.

Harvest the roots
Break Warped Roots with any tool or your bare hand; the block always drops itself as an item.

Farm more with bone meal
Apply bone meal to warped nylium to spread fresh Warped Roots and Nether Sprouts around the area.

Compost or decorate
Place the roots in a composter for a 65% compost boost, or use them to decorate Nether builds and gardens.
Warped Roots has no collision box and is non-flammable, so it is safe to place near lava in the Nether.
