Description

Suspicious Stew is a Minecraft food item crafted from one bowl, one red mushroom, one brown mushroom, and one small flower. Suspicious Stew restores 6 hunger points and gives a short status effect based on the flower used in the recipe, so the same recipe shape can produce very different survival results. Suspicious Stew also appears in shipwreck supply chests and can be obtained from brown mooshrooms with a bowl after the mooshroom has been fed a flower.

Suspicious Stew is useful when a player wants compact food with a controlled potion-like bonus before combat, exploration, or mining. Dandelion and blue orchid versions give Saturation for a very short burst, while other flowers can give effects such as Night Vision, Jump Boost, Weakness, Blindness, or Poison. Suspicious Stew cannot stack, so Suspicious Stew works best as a planned single-use item rather than a long-term food supply.
