Spruce Fence is a dark wooden barrier block crafted from four Spruce Planks and two Sticks on a crafting table, yielding three fence blocks per recipe. The deep chocolate-brown tone matches the colour of spruce wood found in taiga, snowy taiga, and grove biomes, letting Spruce Fence blend seamlessly into northern-style builds. Spruce Fence connects automatically to other fence blocks and most solid blocks, forming a 1.5-block-tall wall that players and most mobs cannot jump over. Players and most mobs cannot leap over a Spruce Fence because the hitbox stands one and a half blocks tall, the standard Minecraft fence collision rule. Spruce Fence burns in fire and lava like every wooden block and serves as fuel in a furnace, smelting 1.5 items per block.
