Description

Nether Brick Fence is a nonflammable barrier crafted from four nether brick blocks and two nether brick items, producing six fences. Nether Brick Fences also generate naturally throughout Nether fortresses, where a pickaxe collects them fastest. Like other fences, a Nether Brick Fence has a 1.5-block-high collision barrier despite appearing one block tall, so most mobs and players cannot jump over it.

Nether Brick Fence suits lava bridges, fortress balconies, dungeon cages, gothic windows, and dark industrial builds. Nether Brick Fence connects to adjacent fence pieces and fence gates, but the deep red texture does not visually merge with wooden fence families. Builders can pair Nether Brick Fence with nether bricks, red nether bricks, blackstone, chains, basalt, and soul lanterns. The nonflammable material makes Nether Brick Fence safer than wooden fencing beside fire or lava.

How to craft and use a Nether Brick Fence

    Collect nether brick materials

    Mine nether brick blocks in a Nether fortress or smelt netherrack into nether bricks, then craft the required blocks.

    Craft six fence pieces

    Place 4 nether brick blocks and 2 nether brick items in the crafting grid to receive 6 Nether Brick Fences.

    Build a connected barrier

    Place the fence pieces beside one another or next to fence gates to create a continuous 1.5-block-high collision barrier.

Fire safety

Nether Brick Fence does not burn, making it suitable for railings beside fire and lava.
