Description

Nether Brick is a dark reddish-brown decorative block that forms the walls, floors and towers of Nether fortresses in Minecraft. Any pickaxe can mine Nether Brick, and four Nether Brick items in a 2x2 grid craft one block. Smelting Netherrack in a furnace produces one item per Netherrack, so no fortress visit is required; piglin bartering also pays out 2-8 items per gold ingot, which is what makes the block renewable. With a hardness of 2 and a blast resistance of 6, Nether Brick survives Ghast fireballs far better than Netherrack, a popular fireproof building material in the Nether. Nether Brick Stairs, Slabs, Walls, Fences and Chiseled Nether Bricks all craft from the block, while Red Nether Bricks combine the smelted items with Nether Wart.
