Description

Red Nether Bricks are crafted from two regular nether bricks combined with two nether wart in a 2×2 grid, producing one block per recipe. The texture takes the deep crimson of standard nether bricks and pushes it brighter — a vivid scarlet with mottled crimson highlights, more vibrant and decorative than the muted tone of its sibling.

The block shares full fireproofing and ghast-resistance with the regular variant — it does not burn, ignites no fire spread, and shrugs off lava contact. The colour difference is purely aesthetic but valuable: builders use Red Nether Bricks to create bold accent stripes inside otherwise dark Nether bases, to outline fortress towers, or to mark ceremonial entrances inside bastions and crimson-themed shrines. The full family of slabs, stairs, and walls is available, and the colour pairs especially well with crimson stems and weeping vines for organic Nether-themed interiors.

Version note

Red Nether Bricks were added in Java Edition 1.10 and are available on Bedrock Edition. They are player-crafted only and never generate naturally in the Nether.
