How to use the Duplication Chip in Minecraft
-
1
Craft the chip
Assemble a Duplication Chip at a workbench: an empty chip in the centre, two amethyst shards on the sides, and a uranium plate below.
-
2
Install it in the Incubator
Place the chip into the Incubator's dedicated chip slot. The chip sets the machine to duplicate mode and is never consumed by a run.
-
3
Add uranium and the item to copy
Put a uranium ingot in the fuel slot (one ingot buys three attempts) and a single copyable item in the input slot.
-
4
Run a 25-second cycle
Each attempt costs 4000 EU and 25 seconds. On success the input item doubles; on failure it is lost and one charge burns away.
-
5
Mind the value classes
Cheaper items duplicate more reliably: basic crops succeed 0.85 of the time, while gems and precious ingots only succeed 0.45.
The input's rarity gene burns away during the attempt and the result always rolls a fresh grade, so a Legendary item can only be spent for a higher success chance, never multiplied into a second Legendary.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Duplication Chip get consumed?
No. The Duplication Chip sits in the Incubator's chip slot and is never consumed by a run; only the uranium fuel and the EU are spent per attempt.
How much does one duplication attempt cost?
Each duplication attempt costs 4000 EU and runs for 25 seconds, plus a third of a uranium ingot because one ingot buys three charges.
What can the Duplication Chip copy?
It duplicates vanilla and Ala Industrial ingots plus gems, minerals, and organic items like crops and seeds. Processed parts such as plates, circuits, and cables are excluded, and uranium itself cannot be duplicated.
What is the success chance of duplication?
The chance depends on the item's value class: 0.85 for basic crops, 0.60 for rare organics, 0.55 for minerals and common ingots, and 0.45 for gems and precious ingots.
Can I duplicate a Legendary item?
No. The input's rarity gene burns during the attempt and the result rolls a fresh grade, so a Legendary item can only be spent for a higher success chance, never multiplied into another Legendary.
