Milk Bucket
Milk Bucket instantly clears every status effect — positive or negative — when drunk, making it Minecraft's universal antidote to Poison, Wither, and Nausea.
Description
Milk Bucket is a core crafting ingredient for Cake, which needs three Milk Buckets, two Sugar, one Egg, and three Wheat — the three empty buckets are returned to the player after crafting. Experienced players keep a Milk Bucket on the hotbar before fighting a Cave Spider or escaping a Witch's Poison, since Milk Bucket neutralizes damage-over-time effects instantly. Because Milk Bucket also cancels positive buffs, drink it only after a potion's harmful phase has passed, never mid-buff during a boss fight.

How to get and use a Milk Bucket in Minecraft
-
1
Craft an empty bucket
Place three iron ingots in a V-shape on the crafting grid to make an empty Bucket.
-
2
Milk a cow, mooshroom, or goat
Right-click (use) any cow, mooshroom, or goat with the empty bucket to fill it with milk.
-
3
Drink to clear effects
Hold use on the Milk Bucket to drink it; all active status effects disappear and an empty bucket remains.
-
4
Bake a cake
Combine three Milk Buckets, two sugar, one egg, and three wheat in the crafting grid to bake a Cake and recover the buckets.
Milk removes good effects too, so drink it after a harmful effect lands rather than during a potion buff.
