High-durability diamond cutting blade for the IC2 Block Cutting Machine, used to slice metal and stone blocks into plates.
Guide
Mine enough diamonds for the recipe and prepare an IC2 tool casing on a workbench.
On a workbench, arrange diamonds around the tool casing to produce the Diamond Block Cutting Blade.
Open the IC2 Block Cutting Machine GUI and place the blade into the dedicated blade slot.
Insert metal or stone blocks into the input. The machine consumes EU and outputs plates while ticking down blade durability.
When the durability bar empties, the blade breaks. Craft a new Diamond Block Cutting Blade to resume production.
The Diamond Block Cutting Blade lasts longer than its iron and steel counterparts, so it pays off in factories that produce many plates per minute.
It is the cutting head for the IC2 Block Cutting Machine. With the blade installed, the machine slices metal and stone blocks into plates used across the IC2 crafting tree.
On a standard workbench, diamonds are placed around an IC2 tool casing. This puts it in the same diamond-tier branch as the Diamond Drill head.
Only the IC2 Block Cutting Machine. It lives in the machine's blade slot and is consumed gradually as the machine processes blocks.
The Diamond Block Cutting Blade has the highest durability in the IC2 blade family, processing significantly more blocks before breaking than the iron or steel variants.
It is present in IndustrialCraft 2 builds for Minecraft 1.7.10 and 1.12.2, where the Block Cutting Machine and full diamond-tier tool chain are available.
