Description
The block is mostly replaced by powered rails in modern builds because powered rails offer more precise speed control and work with hoppers and detector rails. The furnace cart still has niche value for players who want autonomous transport without powered rail infrastructure: early-game mine transport, simple item delivery systems, or builds that value the mechanical aesthetic of a self-propelled cart. It cannot be loaded with items and serves purely as a locomotive. Breaking it returns the furnace and minecart as separate items.
