Energy Crystal is an MV crafting material from Ala Industrial: a blank absorbs 100 000 EU in any charge slot and becomes the finished, uncharged crystal.
Description
The finished Energy Crystal is an ordinary item: no charge bar, no stored energy, nothing to charge or drain — the 100 000 EU were the price of making the crystal, not its contents. Charging is flexible: a Battery Box slot, a CESU slot, a Charging Station, a worn Energy Pack or a right-click transfer from a Battery all work, and because the blank exposes item energy on both Fabric and NeoForge, another mod's charger works too. From there Energy Crystal only ever goes into crafting — the Lapotron Crystal Blank, the Advanced Electromagnet and the Resonance Chip — and the crystal ladder continues through Lapotron Crystal to Resonant Crystal, with every new blank filling from empty.

Craft the blank
Place four diamond dust in the corners, four redstone along the edges and one tempered iron in the center of the crafting grid — the result is the Energy Crystal Blank.

Drop the blank into a charge slot
Any charger works: a Battery Box, a CESU, a Charging Station, a worn Energy Pack or a right-click transfer from a Battery.

Feed the blank 100 000 EU
The blank draws up to 128 EU/t, so a CESU slot finishes the job in about 39 seconds — leave the blank charging and do something else.

Collect the finished crystal
When the buffer is full, the blank turns into Energy Crystal automatically, and the slot holds an ordinary crafting material with no charge bar.

Spend the crystal in crafting
Energy Crystal goes into the Lapotron Crystal Blank, the Advanced Electromagnet and the Resonance Chip — the rung that leads toward Lapotron Crystal and Resonant Crystal.
The 100 000 EU are the manufacturing price, not the contents: the finished Energy Crystal stores nothing and powers no machine, so keep a Battery Box or a CESU for real energy storage.
