Column Bore Module is a crafting component of the Ala Industrial technology mod for Minecraft 26.2 Java Edition, shipped for both Fabric and NeoForge. The recipe fills an entire 3x3 crafting grid: two Core Barrels flank an Irradiated Diamond across the top, two Reinforced Chokes sit either side of an Advanced Circuit in the middle row, and two Reinforced Invar Plates frame a Reinforced Bearing at the bottom; one craft yields exactly one module. Held in hand, Column Bore Module does nothing: the Electric Drill has no slot for the part, and no click installs anything. The Upgrade Table, an LV machine, is the only station that accepts Column Bore Module — the fitting cycle consumes the module and writes the upgrade onto the drill itself.

Installed on an Electric Drill, Column Bore Module makes every stroke break a column of three blocks: the block you aim at, one above, and one below, so a walkable tunnel takes one pass instead of three. The aimed block still costs the standard 50 EU, and each of the two extra blocks adds 75 EU, so a full stroke costs 200 EU — a 10 000 EU charge covers 50 strokes, or 150 blocks. Silk Touch and Fortune, when switched on, apply to all three blocks at once, and only blocks a pickaxe can mine join the column; protected territory and adventure mode give up nothing extra. Column mode is toggled with the L key, because both mouse buttons on the Electric Drill are already taken: a plain right-click places a torch, and sneak plus right-click flips Silk Touch on the two tipped tiers. A drill that cannot pay for the whole column breaks a single block instead of starting a job the charge cannot cover.
