Description

Cut Copper is crafted by placing four copper blocks in a 2×2 grid, yielding four cut copper blocks — a one-to-one conversion that adds visual complexity without changing the material's behaviour. The texture introduces a fine crosshatch pattern that reads as worked metal panelling rather than a raw cast block, which is why most copper-themed builds use the cut variant on visible facades and the plain version only inside walls or for storage compression.

The oxidation system is identical to the parent block: random ticks advance the surface through exposed, weathered, and finally oxidized stages, each with its own crosshatch texture in green tones. Honeycomb wax freezes any stage permanently, an axe scrape strips one layer (or removes the wax first), and a nearby lightning bolt reverts an unwaxed block all the way to fresh copper. Slab and stair variants exist for every oxidation level — eight stairs from six cut blocks, six slabs from three cut blocks — giving builders full architectural flexibility in the patina of their choice.
