Description

Stripped Cherry Wood is the bark-free version of Cherry Wood, added in Minecraft 1.20 Trails & Tales alongside the cherry grove biome. Players make Stripped Cherry Wood by right-clicking a Cherry Wood block with any axe, which peels off the dark bark and reveals a soft salmon-pink core on all six faces. Unlike a log, Stripped Cherry Wood shows the same wood texture on every side, so walls and pillars built from Stripped Cherry Wood read as one clean surface with no end-grain rings. The block has a hardness of 2, is mined fastest with an axe, and is flammable.

Stripped Cherry Wood is mainly a decorative building block: its pale pink tone is the lightest wood in Minecraft and pairs well with white concrete, quartz, and pastel palettes for modern houses, Japanese-style builds, and cherry-grove cabins. You can also craft Stripped Cherry Wood into four Cherry Planks per block on the crafting grid. Because Stripped Cherry Wood does not generate naturally, every block is player-made by stripping or crafting, which makes it a signature material for builders chasing a bright, blossom-themed look.
