Description
Scaffolding crafts from six bamboo and one string, yielding six pieces designed for temporary construction access. The block can be stacked upward from the ground by placing against the side or top, and players climb it like a ladder by holding jump or descend through it by crouching. Unlike most blocks, it can extend horizontally a limited distance before losing support and falling.
Its biggest advantage is cleanup. Breaking the bottom support causes the connected tower to collapse into items, so large builds can be surrounded by work platforms without leaving permanent junk. It also lets players bridge around roofs, terraform cliffs, or inspect redstone wiring from above. The texture is light and open, so it does not fully block visibility. Bamboo farms make it inexpensive once a survival world is established.
