Description
What makes this material unique is how easy bamboo is to farm. A single sapling of bamboo grows continuously upward in any biome with sufficient light, and a small farm produces enough stalks to supply a permanent crafting chain without any tree-felling at all. Builders use Bamboo Block as a structural element in pagodas, garden walls, and Asian-inspired temples — the smooth vertical striations contrast beautifully against horizontal-grain woods like oak or spruce.

Open a crafting table and fill all 9 slots with bamboo stalks. Each craft produces exactly 1 Block of Bamboo. Note that the yield ratio is different from other logs: Block of Bamboo gives only 2 bamboo planks per block, compared to 4 planks per log for every other wood species.

Right-click Block of Bamboo with any axe to strip it, producing a Stripped Bamboo Block with a smoother, lighter-colored texture. Stripped Bamboo Block can also be used for crafting and building, and gives the same 2 bamboo planks when processed.
