Bamboo Slab is a half-height block of bamboo wood, crafted from three Bamboo Planks into six slabs for low steps, floors and flat roofs.
Description
Bamboo Slab is an ingredient for Daylight Detector, Barrel and Lectern, like every wooden slab. Mobs spawn on top slabs and double slabs but not on bottom slabs, so a layer of bottom Bamboo Slabs keeps a floor free of mob spawns. Bamboo Slab also lets a build step up in half-block increments, which suits stairs, low tables, flat roofs and thin floors.
