Description
Nether Quartz Ore is the only ore that generates inside the Nether — embedded in the surrounding netherrack rather than stone, with veins reaching up to fourteen blocks. Its texture is unmistakable: a red netherrack matrix flecked with bright white quartz crystals, glowing softly against the gloom of the dimension. A wooden pickaxe is the minimum required tool, surprisingly low for an Nether-side resource.
One block drops one quartz crystal, with bonus rolls under Fortune. Crystals serve a wide range of redstone recipes — they are required for comparators, daylight sensors, and observers, three components no advanced redstone build can do without. Four crystals craft into a quartz block, the brilliant white building material that defines modern Nether-themed architecture. Smelting the ore in a furnace returns one crystal directly. Silk Touch returns the ore for collectors who want the glittering block intact.
