Guide
How to get and play the "chirp" music disc in Minecraft
-
1
Set up a Creeper kill
The Music Disc "chirp" only drops when a skeleton kills a Creeper with an arrow. Lure a Creeper in front of a skeleton so the skeleton's missed shots hit it.
-
2
Collect the disc
When the skeleton's arrow finishes the Creeper, it drops one random C418 overworld disc. Pick up the Music Disc "chirp" if it appears; it is a 1-in-12 chance per such kill.
-
3
Place a Jukebox
Craft or place a Jukebox where you want the music. The Music Disc "chirp" is played by interacting with a Jukebox, not by any crafting recipe.
-
4
Play the track
Use the Music Disc "chirp" on the Jukebox. The subtitle "C418 - chirp" shows above the hotbar and the 3:05 track plays with note particles; use the Jukebox again to eject the disc.
Place a Redstone Comparator beside the Jukebox to read a signal of 4 while "chirp" plays, or use a Hopper to insert and pull the disc automatically.
