Mangrove Log
Mangrove Log has a deep red-brown bark and grows tangled above murky swamp water on dense root systems.

Description
Mangrove Log was introduced with the Wild Update (1.19) and brought a wood type that grows in conditions no other tree tolerates: directly above water on a tangled mass of roots. The trees occupy mangrove swamp biomes — humid, dim, frog-filled wetlands — and are visually distinguished by their reddish bark, the stilt-like roots descending into mud, and the propagule pods that hang from the leaves.
Unlike every other tree species, mangroves have no saplings. Mature trees drop propagules — long pod-shaped seeds — that can be planted on dirt or even directly in shallow water, where they grow into trees with submerged trunks. The block strips with an axe to reveal a clean reddish-brown interior, smelts to charcoal in any furnace, and crafts to four matching planks per unit. The roots themselves are a separate decorative block, useful for swamp huts and dock pilings.
