Description
Hay Block is crafted from nine wheat in a 3×3 grid and reversed back to nine wheat by placing it in a crafting slot. Horses, donkeys, mules, and llamas can be fed hay blocks to restore 20 health points and accelerate baby growth. It is the most efficient single-item food source for taming and breeding horses.
Falling onto a hay block reduces fall damage by 80%, making it a useful emergency landing pad — though not a full negation like honey or slime blocks. The 80% reduction means falling from extreme heights still deals damage.
