Description
Flow Armor Trim is a smithing template added in Java 1.21 alongside the Trial Chambers update. It displays a fluid, wave-like visual pattern across armor when applied at a smithing table. The trim itself has no gameplay effect — it is purely decorative — but the color of the trim material changes the final appearance, allowing many different looks from a single template.
To apply it, place the template, any armor piece, and a compatible trim material in the smithing table. The template is consumed in the process. To duplicate the template before using it, combine the original with seven diamonds and a copper block on a crafting table, which yields two copies. Flow is exclusive to Trial Chambers, making it one of the 1.21 exclusive trims alongside Bolt. Players who want the pattern on a full armor set should duplicate the template at least three times before applying to preserve one copy as a permanent backup.
