Description
Because copper is renewable (drowned zombies drop copper ingots), Copper Pickaxe is itself a renewable tool — the first new renewable pickaxe since netherite. Copper Pickaxe accepts standard pickaxe enchantments such as Efficiency, Unbreaking, Fortune, and Silk Touch at an enchantability of 13, slightly above iron. In combat Copper Pickaxe deals 3 damage per hit in Java Edition and 4 damage in Bedrock Edition. Two damaged pickaxes combine in a crafting grid or grindstone, and each copper ingot spent at an anvil restores 47 durability, making Copper Pickaxe a sensible bridge tool for early-game miners before iron is plentiful.
