Yellow Candle
Yellow Candle is a dyed candle whose light level (brightness, 0–15) climbs from 3 to 12 as up to four candles share one block space.
Description
Yellow Candle emits no light when placed: flint and steel, a fire charge, or any flaming projectile must light the flame. A single lit Yellow Candle gives light level 3, and up to four identically colored candles in one block space raise the light to 6, 9, and finally 12, with fire particles. Yellow Candle has a blast resistance of 0.1, breaks with any tool or none, stacks to 64, and never catches fire from lava. A waterlogged Yellow Candle cannot be lit, and water, a wind charge, or a direct click extinguishes the flame. One Yellow Candle can top an uneaten cake, and the candle drops when the cake is eaten or destroyed.
