Yellow Bed skips the night and sets a respawn point (where players reappear after dying), crafted from three yellow wool and any three planks.
Description
Yellow Bed needs a monster-free zone: hostile mobs within 8 blocks horizontally and 5 blocks vertically of the bed head prevent sleep, so clear the bedroom area before nightfall. All Overworld players must lie down at the same time for a multiplayer world to skip the night, and sleeping never accelerates crop growth or furnace smelting. Yellow Bed has hardness 0.2, breaks by hand in 0.3 seconds, and never stacks in the inventory. A bed placed in the Nether or the End detonates a power 5 explosion — above the 4 of TNT — which players use to mine ancient debris and damage the Ender Dragon, while villagers sleep in any dimension unharmed.
