Waxed Weathered Cut Copper Slab is made by applying Honeycomb to a Weathered Cut Copper Slab, permanently locking the block at its third oxidation stage. Cut Copper Slabs progress through four stages, unoxidized, exposed, weathered, and oxidized, and at the weathered stage the copper turns green with scattered brown spots, noticeably darker than the pale Exposed stage but not yet the teal Oxidized stage. Waxing stops lightning bolts and axes from moving the block to the next stage, so builders keep this exact look on purpose. The slab is mined with a Stone Pickaxe or higher, stacks to 64, and does not burn, making it safe near lava-lit builds. It was added in Java Edition 1.17 and Bedrock Edition 1.16.210.

Waxed Weathered Cut Copper Slab can also be cut directly from a Waxed Weathered Copper block on a Stonecutter for 8 slabs at once, or from a Waxed Weathered Cut Copper block for 2 slabs, both skipping the Honeycomb step entirely. Builders place it as a half-height cap on weathered-copper walls, patina-toned roofs, and rooftop trim where a fresh Oxidized Copper green would look out of place. Because the wax keeps the color fixed, Waxed Weathered Cut Copper Slab pairs cleanly with Weathered Cut Copper Stairs and full blocks without drifting out of sync as an unwaxed build keeps aging.
