Description

Weathered Cut Copper Slab is the third of four oxidation stages that Cut Copper Slab passes through in Minecraft, turning from copper's original tone to a green surface flecked with brown spots. Like other copper blocks, it oxidizes naturally over time unless waxed with Honeycomb, and an axe removes the oxidation to lighten it again. Stackable to 64 and breakable only with a Stone Pickaxe or higher, the slab is not flammable and can be waterlogged like other slabs, and it has a blast resistance of 6.

Three Weathered Cut Copper blocks placed in a row on the crafting grid yield 6 Weathered Cut Copper Slabs, or a stonecutter turns a single Weathered Copper block into 8 slabs at once. Weathered Cut Copper Slab also works as a crafting ingredient for Chiseled Copper, extending its use beyond flat surfaces. Because oxidation only changes its color and not its shape, builders place it to add a naturally aged, mid-rust look to copper roofs, statues, and industrial-style builds without waiting for the block to weather on its own.
