Exposed Chiseled Copper itself comes from stonecutting an Exposed Block of Copper into four copies at once, from stonecutting a single Exposed Cut Copper, or from stacking two Exposed Cut Copper Slabs in one column of the crafting grid. Mining Waxed Exposed Chiseled Copper requires a Stone Pickaxe or better; without one, the block drops nothing at all. The surface sits at the second of four oxidation stages, past the shiny orange of fresh copper but short of the darker green-brown of Weathered Chiseled Copper, showing scattered green spots over an orange-brown base.

Waxed Exposed Chiseled Copper stacks to 64 and never advances past this greenish oxidation stage, making it a reliable building material for rooftops, dockside warehouses, or machinery panels that need to stay locked at one exact tone instead of drifting toward the darker Weathered or Oxidized look. Builders skip years of natural weathering entirely by waxing a block right after it reaches the Exposed stage, guaranteeing every wall matches. Placed under a Note Block, Chiseled Copper at any oxidation stage makes the instrument play a trumpet sound instead of its default tone.
