Description
The main use of Stripped Acacia Log is cleaner decoration and downstream crafting. Four Stripped Acacia Logs arranged in a 2x2 grid craft three Stripped Acacia Wood, a six-sided bark-free variant favored for modern pillars and smooth walls. Since Minecraft 1.20, Stripped Acacia Log is also a required ingredient for the Acacia Hanging Sign and Acacia Wall Hanging Sign, paired with a chain. Builders reach for Stripped Acacia Log whenever a warm orange wood without bark texture is needed — savanna outposts, desert temples, and minimalist contemporary builds all benefit from the tidy, ring-marked ends.

Travel to a savanna or windswept savanna biome, where acacia trees spawn with their flat canopies. Each acacia tree typically yields three to four Acacia Logs when chopped.

Equip any axe
Place any axe (wooden, stone, iron, gold, diamond, or netherite) on your hotbar and select it. Any axe tier can strip a log, so even a wooden axe works on the first day.

Right-click the Acacia Log
Right-click an Acacia Log block with the axe. The bark peels away instantly and one Stripped Acacia Log replaces the block, taking the axe one durability point.

Harvest the Stripped Acacia Log
Mine the stripped block with the axe to collect it as an item. Stripped Acacia Log stacks to 64, so a full acacia tree gives enough for several crafting recipes.

Optionally craft Stripped Acacia Wood
Place four Stripped Acacia Logs in a 2x2 grid to produce three Stripped Acacia Wood, a six-sided bark-free variant useful for smooth pillars and clean modern walls.
Right-click stripping works only on the block face, not in a crafting grid, so a Stripped Acacia Log cannot be crafted from ingredients — only produced by axe interaction.
