Description
Block of Quartz is crafted from four nether quartz crystals arranged in a 2×2 square on the crafting grid, producing one block per recipe. The texture is a brilliant near-white with subtle vertical striations, the cleanest light building material available in vanilla without dyeing concrete or terracotta. Despite the Nether origin of its raw material, the block fits beautifully in Overworld palaces, modern penthouses, and Greek-temple builds.
The device has three direct decorative variants: chiseled quartz (made by stacking two quartz slabs), pillar quartz (logs of vertical striated quartz with end caps, made from two stacked blocks), and smooth quartz (smelted from a regular block). All three plus the base block support slabs, stairs, and walls at the stonecutter, making the family one of the most complete decorative sets in the game. Pair Block of Quartz with sea lanterns for futuristic interiors, with stone bricks for marble palace floors, or with red nether bricks for striking Nether-temple contrasts.
