Description

Polished Granite is a smooth decorative stone crafted from four Granite blocks in a 2×2 grid, producing four blocks with no material loss. A stonecutter also converts one Granite into one Polished Granite. The block keeps Granite’s warm pink-orange palette but replaces the coarse speckles with a more regular tiled pattern. Polished Granite requires at least a wooden pickaxe to drop itself and has hardness 1.5 and blast resistance 6.

Polished Granite works well for floors, columns, fireplace surrounds, foundations, and warm accent bands. A stonecutter can turn Polished Granite into matching slabs or stairs, while the crafting table can also make those variants. Polished Granite does not have a matching wall variant; Granite Walls use ordinary Granite instead. Pair Polished Granite with Quartz for bright interiors, Sandstone for warm courtyards, or Deepslate for strong color contrast.
