Description

Polished Granite is the refined cousin of raw granite. Crafting four granite blocks in a 2×2 grid produces four polished blocks at a one-to-one rate, and the same conversion is available at a stonecutter for cleaner inventory management. The polished surface drops the speckles of the raw stone in favour of an even, smooth pink-orange wash that reads as plaster from a distance.

The block has the same hardness, blast resistance, and tool requirement as raw granite — a wooden pickaxe minimum, drops itself directly. The stonecutter converts polished blocks into matching slabs and stairs (and, since the 1.16 update, walls), giving a complete decorative kit suitable for floors, accent strips, and exterior facades. Pair Polished Granite with sandstone for desert palaces, with quartz pillars for marble-effect throne rooms, or with smooth red sandstone for warm courtyard tilings.
