Polished Cinnabar
Smooth deep-red decorative block refined from Cinnabar found in Minecraft 26.2 Sulfur Caves.
26.2
Description
Polished Cinnabar is a refined decorative block introduced in Minecraft 26.2 "Chaos Cubed" as part of the Sulfur Caves update. Polished Cinnabar is crafted by placing four raw Cinnabar in a 2x2 grid, yielding four polished blocks, or by using a Stonecutter for a 1:1 conversion. Cinnabar itself generates naturally in Sulfur Caves, the new underground biome added in snapshot 7. The polished variant has a smoother, deeper red surface than rough Cinnabar, making the block ideal for ornate temples, throne rooms, and accent walls. Polished Cinnabar behaves as a standard solid block in Java and Bedrock editions.
