How to make Netherite Boots in Minecraft

Mine Ancient Debris
Dig in the Nether around Y level -16 to 8 to find Ancient Debris, then smelt each block into Netherite Scrap in a furnace.

Craft a Netherite Ingot
Place 4 Netherite Scrap and 4 Gold Ingots anywhere in the crafting grid to make 1 Netherite Ingot.

Get the Smithing Template
Find a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template in a Bastion Remnant chest, or duplicate it with 7 Diamonds and a Netherite block of the same type.

Upgrade at a Smithing Table
Put your Diamond Boots, the Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template, and the Netherite Ingot into a Smithing Table to forge Netherite Boots.
Since version 1.20, the Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template is required for every upgrade. Older versions only needed Diamond Boots plus a Netherite Ingot.
