Description

Nether Brick Slab is a half-height decorative block crafted from Nether Bricks, and no natural structure in Minecraft contains Nether Brick Slab. Three Nether Bricks blocks placed in a single crafting row yield 6 slabs, and a stonecutter cuts 2 slabs from one Nether Bricks block. Nether Bricks blocks come from the walls and support pillars of Nether fortresses, so a fortress trip stocks the crafting materials. Any pickaxe breaks a placed Nether Brick Slab, and a pickaxe-less break drops nothing.
Nether Brick Slab never catches fire, cannot be ignited by lava, and emits no light. A single Nether Brick Slab can be waterlogged (water fills the same block space), which suits flooded corridor builds. Minecraft Java Edition received Nether Brick Slabs in version 1.4.6.
