Music Disc — strad
Music Disc strad is a calm C418 jukebox track in Minecraft, dropped only when a skeleton kills a creeper — never crafted.
Description
To listen to Music Disc strad, place a jukebox and use the disc on it; the calm, melodic strad track plays for roughly three minutes before the jukebox falls silent. A redstone comparator placed beside a jukebox holding Music Disc strad outputs a fixed signal strength unique to this disc, letting builders detect which track is loaded. Music Disc strad behaves identically in Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, making it a dependable ambient-music choice for bases, listening rooms, and survival hideouts.

How to get and play Music Disc strad in Minecraft
-
1
Find a creeper and a skeleton
Locate a creeper and a bow-wielding skeleton or stray close together, usually at night or in a dark cave where both mobs spawn.
-
2
Let the skeleton shoot the creeper
Position yourself so the skeleton's arrows hit the creeper; when an arrow lands the killing blow, the creeper drops one random music disc.
-
3
Collect the dropped disc
Pick up the disc and check which one it is. The disc is chosen at random, so repeat the creeper-kill trick until Music Disc strad drops.
-
4
Play it in a jukebox
Place a jukebox and use Music Disc strad on it to start the strad track; use the jukebox again or break it to stop and eject the disc.
Music Disc strad has no crafting recipe and never spawns in chest loot — the skeleton-versus-creeper method is the only survival way to obtain it.
