Description

Muddy Mangrove Roots generate naturally where the open lattice of regular mangrove roots descends into the swamp's mud layer at the base of the trees. The mud fills every gap in the roots, producing an opaque, fully-solid block whose texture combines the warm reddish-brown of root wood with darker mud stains streaked between the strands. The block looks heavier and feels heavier in builds — it reads as ground-level structure rather than the light treetop accent of regular roots.

A player can manufacture this variant deliberately by using a water bottle on a placed regular mangrove root block; the same recipe also runs in reverse via a crafting recipe (mud + mangrove roots = muddy mangrove roots) for bulk conversions. Unlike the open root variant, this block is fully opaque, so it blocks light and mob spawns identically to a normal solid block. Builders use it to fill in foundation lines, lay down trail surfaces in swamp builds, or as a darker-toned counterpart to mangrove planks for stone-meets-wood transitions.
