Description

Lily of the Valley is a small white flower added to Minecraft in Java Edition 1.14 (Village & Pillage). It generates naturally in the Flower Forest biome and grows when you apply Bone Meal to grass blocks inside that biome, which makes it a renewable resource. One Lily of the Valley crafts into a single White Dye, giving it the same coloring use as Bone Meal for wool, beds, banners, and other dyeable items. Combined with a Bowl and a red or brown mushroom, the flower produces a Suspicious Stew that inflicts the Poison effect for 12 seconds — the only flower stew that harms the eater. Lily of the Valley can be placed inside a Flower Pot, breaks instantly by hand, and drops itself when mined. Bees pollinate it, so it fits naturally into bee farms and cottagecore gardens. Its pure white blossom is a popular pick for builders who want pale flower accents without dyeing anything.
