Light Blue Candle is the sky-blue variant of Minecraft's sixteen dyed candles, crafted by combining one plain Candle with one Light Blue Dye anywhere in the crafting grid. The color is permanent: a dyed candle can never be recolored, and the Light Blue Candle never generates naturally, never appears in loot chests, and no villager sells candles in this shade, so dyeing a plain Candle is the only way to obtain the block. Up to four Light Blue Candles fit into a single block space, standing together as one cluster. A Light Blue Candle breaks in 0.15 seconds with any tool or bare hand, stacks to 64, and has hardness 0.1 and blast resistance 0.1, so one explosion easily wipes a candle arrangement.
A placed Light Blue Candle starts unlit and ignites only with Flint and Steel, a Fire Charge, or any flaming projectile. A single lit Light Blue Candle emits light level 3, and each extra candle in the same block space adds 3 more, so a full cluster of four reaches light level 12, the maximum brightness candles give. A Light Blue Candle also sits on an uneaten Cake as a candle cake, while water extinguishes the flame and a waterlogged candle cannot be lit at all. Players decorate dinner tables, windowsills, and shrine corners with clusters of four Light Blue Candles, because the pale blue wax tints the scene and the cluster still lights the room to level 12.
