Description

Jungle Sign is the jungle-wood variant of Minecraft's sign, a non-solid block that displays up to four lines of player-written text. One crafting batch — 6 Jungle Planks and 1 Stick — produces 3 Jungle Signs that attach to the top or the side of other blocks, including fences, trapdoors, and other signs. A standing Jungle Sign turns toward the placing player in one of 16 directions on a short post. Jungle Sign breaks with any tool — an axe is fastest — drops as an item whenever the attached block is moved or destroyed, stacks to 16, and never burns.

Jungle Sign labels tree-farm stations, marks tunnel exits, and displays shop prices at trade halls. A placed Jungle Sign reopens the text editor on use, and the back side accepts a second message. A dye recolors all four lines at once, a glow ink sac makes the text glow, and a honeycomb waxes Jungle Sign against edits by other players. Water and lava flow around Jungle Sign without destruction, so builders steer fluids with sign walls. One Jungle Sign even smelts one item in a furnace as fuel. Two crafting batches — 12 Jungle Planks and 2 Sticks — produce 6 Jungle Signs, enough to label a whole jungle tree farm.

In Creative mode, Control + pick block on Windows and Linux or Command + pick block on macOS copies a placed Jungle Sign with the whole text into the inventory.
