Green Stained Glass Pane is a thin, transparent decoration block — the vertical, material-saving window form of green stained glass. Minecraft offers two recipes: eight Glass Panes around one Green Dye in the center of the crafting grid yield eight Green Stained Glass Panes, and six Green Stained Glass blocks yield sixteen panes. Green Stained Glass Panes generate nowhere in the world — village temples and loot chests hold only other colors — so crafting stays the only source. A pane broken without Silk Touch (an enchantment that makes glass drop as an item) drops nothing, and no tool speeds mining up, because stained glass panes have no assigned tool.

Six Green Stained Glass blocks become sixteen panes — 2⅔ panes per block — so a pane window covers up to 267% of the area a stained glass window of the same material allows. Placed panes connect to neighbors in flat, curved, T-shaped or cross-shaped outlines, the collision box copies the visible shape, and a single gap between two panes leaves a 2×1 hole a spider can pass through. Green Stained Glass Panes never lie horizontally; flat green surfaces require Green Stained Glass blocks. Water can share the block space with a pane, a combination regular stained glass does not allow, and beacon beams change color when shining through green panes. A builder covering a wide green wall picks the pane over the solid block: sixteen window pieces come from six blocks.
