Green Stained Glass is the green variant of Minecraft's dyed glass, produced only by crafting: eight glass blocks set around one green dye yield a batch of eight blocks. Glass smelts from sand one-for-one, and one cactus smelts into one Green Dye, so eight sand and one cactus become a full batch of eight blocks. Green Stained Glass never generates in Minecraft structures — natural stained glass exists only as magenta, brown, black, light gray, and white variants. Broken Green Stained Glass drops itself only under a Silk Touch enchantment (a tool enchantment that makes fragile blocks drop themselves); every other tool leaves nothing behind. Hardness sits at 0.3 and blast resistance at 0.3.

Builders set Green Stained Glass into windows, tinted facades, and mosaic walls where color should not hide the world outside. Green Stained Glass placed anywhere above a beacon turns the beacon beam green: the first stained glass block above the beacon sets the beam color, and each additional block blends its own color into the beam. Six stained glass blocks craft into sixteen Green Stained Glass Panes for thin window rows. Green Stained Glass is neither flammable nor susceptible to lava, so green windows survive next to fireplaces and lava falls. A single stack holds 64 Green Stained Glass blocks for large builds.
