Description

Gold Nugget is a small gold material obtained by breaking one gold ingot into 9 nuggets or by smelting damaged golden tools, weapons, and armor. Gold nuggets also drop from nether gold ore and can appear in several loot chests, which makes the Nether a practical source before a player has a large gold supply. A gold nugget stacks to 64 and cannot be placed as a block.

Gold Nugget is used to craft golden carrots, glistering melon slices, firework stars with a star-shaped explosion, and gold ingots. Eight gold nuggets surround a carrot or melon slice in the relevant food recipes, while 9 nuggets reconstruct one gold ingot. Gold nuggets are not accepted for piglin bartering; piglins require full gold ingots, so players should combine nuggets before approaching piglins.
