Dragon Egg is the unique trophy that appears after defeating the Ender Dragon — purely decorative but a famous milestone.

Description
Dragon Egg appears exactly once per world, on top of the central exit portal pillar after the player kills the Ender Dragon for the first time. The texture is a glossy black ovoid with violet highlights and faint endergaze particles drifting from its surface. It is the only legitimate one-of-a-kind block in vanilla survival — a true trophy.
Mining the egg with any tool teleports it to a random nearby location instead of breaking it, the same behaviour as natural Endermen movement. The accepted method to collect it requires a torch trick: place the torch directly under the egg, then mine the block beneath, causing the egg to fall onto the torch which breaks the gravity rule and drops it as a normal item. Once collected, the block has no functional purpose — but most players display it on a pedestal in their main base as proof of completing the dragon fight. Only a Silk Touch piston can also relocate it.
