Cyan Carpet is a thin turquoise wool rug that lies 1/16 of a block high, stops mobs from spawning underfoot, and covers hidden light sources.
Description
Two cyan wool placed side by side craft three Cyan Carpets, and in Java Edition one cyan dye recolors any carpet into a single Cyan Carpet. Builders lay Cyan Carpet on top of fences and walls to create a barrier the player can jump onto while animals and mobs cannot cross, because mobs never try to jump over fences even with a carpet above. Light passes through Cyan Carpet without dimming, so a hidden light-emitting block keeps a room bright with no visible source. Llamas carry Cyan Carpet in the carpet slot as a patterned rug, and each of the 16 dye colors draws a different pattern on a llama's back.
