Practical use is simple: place a Banner in slot 1 of the Loom, any Dye in slot 2, and the pattern in slot 3 to apply the creeper charge layer in the dye's color. Creepers, sugar cane (for Paper), and lightning-triggered Charged Creepers are all renewable, so the Creeper Charge Banner Pattern counts as a renewable item. One pattern is enough to decorate every banner in a base, which is why the single-item stack size is not a practical limit. The Loom finishes the job in one click without spending the pattern.
