Chiseled Resin Bricks
Chiseled Resin Bricks add a carved resin-masonry accent for warm ruins, columns, floors, and Pale Garden builds.
Description
Chiseled Resin Bricks work best when a build needs a small accent rather than a full wall of flat masonry. Builders can pair Chiseled Resin Bricks with Resin Bricks, Block of Resin, pale oak, copper, tuff, or dark stone to make shrine panels, laboratory floors, trail markers, and warm trim around windows. Chiseled Resin Bricks are mainly a visual block, so the strongest use is controlled repetition: place single blocks in corners, pillars, and threshold patterns where the carved texture is readable.

How to make and use Chiseled Resin Bricks in Minecraft
-
1
Collect resin clumps
Find a Creaking Heart inside a Pale Garden biome and break the orange Resin Clumps growing on nearby logs. Any tool works, and clumps also drop when the Creaking is defeated.
-
2
Smelt clumps into resin bricks
Put Resin Clumps in a furnace, blast furnace, or smoker. Each clump smelts into one Resin Brick item used for the whole brick family.
-
3
Craft resin bricks and slabs
Arrange four Resin Brick items in a 2x2 grid to make Resin Bricks, then place three Resin Bricks in a row to craft six Resin Brick Slabs.
-
4
Chisel the slabs
Stack two Resin Brick Slabs vertically in the crafting grid to make one Chiseled Resin Bricks block with its carved face.
-
5
Place as an accent
Set single Chiseled Resin Bricks in corners, pillar tops, and door thresholds so the carved pattern stays readable against plain Resin Bricks.
Chiseled Resin Bricks were added in Minecraft 1.21.4 (The Garden Awakens drop, December 2024) and exist in both Java and Bedrock Edition.

Frequently asked questions
How do you craft Chiseled Resin Bricks?
Stack two Resin Brick Slabs vertically in the crafting grid. This gives one Chiseled Resin Bricks block, the same pattern used for chiseled stone bricks.
What Minecraft version added Chiseled Resin Bricks?
They were added in Minecraft 1.21.4, the December 2024 'Garden Awakens' drop that introduced the Pale Garden and the resin material.
Where does the resin come from?
Resin Clumps grow on Creaking Heart logs in the Pale Garden biome. Smelting a clump in a furnace makes the Resin Brick used to build the brick family.
Are Chiseled Resin Bricks in both Java and Bedrock?
Yes. Chiseled Resin Bricks and the whole resin brick family exist in both Java and Bedrock Edition from 1.21.4 onward.
Do Chiseled Resin Bricks have any function?
No. They are purely decorative, mined with any pickaxe, and used for warm-toned accents, ruins, columns, and floors rather than redstone or storage.
