Description
Brown Harness is one of 16 color variants of the harness, an item that makes a happy ghast mountable and rideable when equipped. Happy ghasts can be ridden only when equipped with a harness. The recipe for one Brown Harness takes three leather across the top row of the crafting grid, two glass on the sides of the middle row, and one brown wool in the center; the wool color decides the harness color, so brown wool produces exactly Brown Harness. A second shapeless recipe recolors any harness with a matching dye, and harnesses are renewable.
Using Brown Harness on a happy ghast equips the harness, and a dispenser can equip the harness too; a harnessed happy ghast carries up to four players at once. The harness carries large vintage-style aviator goggles that lower over the happy ghast's eyes while the ghast is ridden and rise when the ghast is not, so other players can spot even an invisible rider. Shears remove a harness from a happy ghast and drop the harness as an item, and an unharnessed happy ghast follows players holding a harness. Brown Harness also recolors the decorative curtains flowing from the ghast's sides.
