Bricks are the classic terracotta-red masonry block — smelted clay arranged in interlocking pattern, the timeless choice for cottages and chimneys.
Description
The finished material is the warm terracotta red familiar from real-world construction. Texture is the classic offset interlocking pattern, identical in shape to stone bricks but in red instead of grey. The block predates almost every other building material in the game: it appeared in the very early Alpha versions and remains the default red masonry option even after more than a decade of additions. Stair, slab, and wall variants exist for full architectural use. The block has zero blast resistance bonus over the average — it is purely an aesthetic option, not a defensive one.
