Yellow Cushion is the yellow member of the cushion family, a placeable entity (a placed seat that is not a normal block) that players can sit on, introduced in Java Edition 26.3 together with 15 more cushion colors. Crafting is color-strict: three yellow wool slabs in a single crafting-grid row produce exactly one Yellow Cushion, and any cushion combined with yellow dye comes out yellow. Generation follows the same color rule: abandoned camps normally place cushions within 1–2 blocks of a campfire, and the camp template can roll any of the 16 colors, Yellow Cushion included. One inventory slot carries 16 cushions.

Sitting is where Yellow Cushion earns its place: pressing use on a placed cushion seats the player, and a seated player ignores knockback, pistons, and portals until standing up. Cushions carry no collision and stand 0.249 blocks tall, so Yellow Cushion rests on slabs, stairs, and snow layers — any surface shorter than a full block. Removing the seat costs one hit from anything, because cushions break instantly when attacked and always drop themselves; a lost support block breaks the cushion at the next 100-tick (5-second) check. At three yellow wool slabs per seat, a ring of Yellow Cushions around a campfire turns any base corner into a rest spot for the price of three wool slabs per seat.
