Description
On floors, White Carpet works like a pressure plate: the hitbox measures just 1/16 of a block, and that thin cover stops mobs from spawning on covered ground. White Carpet sits on almost anything — fences, walls and other non-solid blocks included, though never on air. The texture looks opaque but does not dim the light passing through, so a light-emitting block hidden under White Carpet keeps a room bright without glare. A hopper under White Carpet still pulls in items dropped on top, and a carpeted fence or wall lets players hop up while animals stay fenced in. Keep White Carpet away from fire and lava: the wool fibers catch flame and burn.
